KING COUNTY, WA — A collision was reported Monday morning on a State Route 518 connector ramp in Tukwila, prompting a multi-agency response, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident happened on the eastbound SR-518 ramp to southbound Interstate 5. It was first recorded by WSDOT at 9:00 a.m.
While only the ramp’s right lane was initially blocked, by 9:22 a.m., the left lane was closed as Washington State Patrol troopers, local fire firefighters, and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team (IRT) arrived on the scene.
A photo taken at the site shows at least three fire engines responding.

By 9:33 a.m., more than 30 minutes after the initial response, crews had cleared the accident from the roadway.
