KING COUNTY, WA — A crash Thursday morning on blocked the toll lane on State Route 16 in southwest Renton, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident occurred on the northbound side of SR-167 at South 180th Street and was first reported by WSDOT at 10:00 a.m.
Officials have not disclosed the cause of the crash, but by 10:15 a.m., local fire crews, the Washington State Patrol, and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team (IRT) were on the scene. Motorists were asked to reduce speed and use extra caution as crews worked the area.

At 10:35 a.m., more than 30 minutes after the initial report, all travel lanes were announced cleared.
