SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run Wednesday afternoon in northeast Seattle’s Bryant area left at least one person hurt, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident was reported at Northeast 52nd Place and 40th Avenue Northeast, near Burke-Gilman Playground Park. Officers with the department’s North Precinct were called to the area at around 3:24 p.m.
While the circumstances of the event have not been shared with the public, dispatchers confirmed at least one person was injured. One of the involved parties also fled the scene before first responders arrived, qualifying the incident as a hit-and-run.
As of this writing, the SPD has not released a description of the fleeing vehicle and/or suspect.
