SEATTLE, WA — Emergency crews were dispatched to a crash Wednesday morning on Northeast 45th Street in Seattle’s University District, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The wreck occurred on the eastbound side of the road at the intersection with 11th Avenue Northeast. It was first recorded by SDOT at 9:48 a.m.
Officials did not say what circumstances led up to the accident, but the right eastbound lane of Northeast 45th Street was blocked for nearly four hours.

By 1:28 p.m., the scene had been removed from the roadway and all travel lanes were reopened to the public.
