SEATTLE, WA — Injuries were reported following a hit-and-run crash late Friday morning in Seattle’s Hillman City neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident was reported in the 5600 block of Martin Luther King Jr Way South, near South Orcas Street. Officers with the department’s South Precinct responded to the scene shortly after receiving a call at about 11:48 a.m.
Authorities have not provided specific details, but dispatchers described the event as a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) that resulted in unspecified injuries to at least one person. One of the involved parties fled the scene before first responders arrived, qualifying the incident as a hit-and-run.
At this time, the SPD has not issued a description of the fleeing vehicle and/or suspect.
