SEATTLE, WA — The Interstate 5 entrance ramp from Seattle’s South Lake Union area was blocked for hours Sunday night after a vehicle crash, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The collision took place on the I-5 entrance ramp from Mercer Street and was first reported by SDOT at 8:05 p.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but the wreck kept the entire ramp closed for more than three hours. Motorists were advised to find alternate routes around the blockage.
Shortly after 11:50 p.m., crews had removed the scene from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
