SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were called to a wreck Thursday morning on the Aurora Bridge near Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The crash happened on a stretch of the bridge (Aurora Avenue South/State Route 99) near 46th Street. It was first recorded by SDOT at 8:04 a.m.
No details with regards to the cause of the accident have been shared, but both northbound and southbound left lanes were closed as a result. Motorists were advised of delays impacting the area.
By 8:19 a.m., crews had cleared the scene away from the roadway, leaving all travel lanes reopened to traffic.
