SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — Emergency crews were called to a vehicle crash Thursday morning that blocked a center lane on Interstate 5 in south Everett, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The wreck occurred on the southbound side of I-5 at 128th Street Southwest (Exit 186). It was first reported by WSDOT at 6:50 a.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but the center southbound lane was closed in the immediate aftermath.

By 7:03 a.m., officials announced that the scene had been cleared from the roadway, but motorists were warned of a lingering two-mile traffic backup.

It was unclear whether anyone was injured and/or required transport to a hospital.
