WEST SEATTLE, WA — A two-vehicle wreck Monday afternoon in West Seattle’s North Admiral neighborhood left one person trapped with injuries, according to West Seattle Blog.
The accident occurred at the intersection of California Avenue Southwest and Southwest Manning Avenue. It was first reported by WSB at 12:33 p.m., when Seattle Fire Department crews and Seattle Police officers had already been at the scene for some time.
Preliminary information indicates a 47-year-old woman was driving a blue car when the vehicle hit another vehicle.
While the manner of the crash was not immediately specified, the impact of the crash left the causing driver trapped. Responding firefighters had to extricate the woman out of her car before she was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
No other injuries have been reported following the incident.
Part of California Avenue was shut down during the response but was reopened to the public by 12:37 p.m.
No charges have been reported as of this writing.
