KING COUNTY, WA — A driver was arrested for suspected impairment early Sunday after a crash involving a Washington State Patrol vehicle in Renton, reports the WSP Trooper Rick Johnson.
The incident occurred on the southbound side of State Route 167, near South 180th Street, in the early hours of September 11.
Few details have been made available, but officials say a WSP trooper had stepped out of his vehicle to help another trooper during a traffic stop. Moments later, his unoccupied vehicle was struck by another vehicle whose driver is believed to have been intoxicated.

Though no injuries were reported following the wreck, the suspect was taken into custody.
