A span of southbound I-405 was shut down as crews tended to the scene, forcing traffic to divert onto State Route 522. Motorists were warned of an extended closure.
By 7:36 a.m., the WSP had completed a preliminary investigation and all travel lanes were reported reopened to traffic.
All lanes are now open. Thank you for your patience. CK
