KING COUNTY, WA — A King County Metro bus veered into a ditch Thursday morning along State Route 169 near north Maple Valley, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident occurred on a stretch of the highway near Cedar Grove Road, in an area northwest of Hobart. It was first reported by WSP Trooper Rick Johnson at 8:37 a.m.
Officials have not specified the events leading up to the wreck, but no passengers were onboard when the bus traveled off the roadway and landed in the ditch.
The driver and sole occupant was not reported injured, and no other vehicles were impacted.

Motorists were asked to use caution in the area as tow crews arrived to clear the scene.
