PIERCE COUNTY, WA — A driver was arrested for suspected DUI last Friday night after a multi-vehicle crash on State Route 161 in south Puyallup, according to the Washington State Patrol.
WSP Trooper John Dattilo first reported the collision on the northbound highway at 120th Street East/47th Avenue Southeast, at about 7:18 p.m.
Details remain limited, but as many as three vehicles were involved in the crash, leaving all northbound lanes of SR-161 blocked at the intersection.
Puyallup Police and Central Pierce Fire & Rescue crews joined WSP troopers at the scene.

The cause and nature of the accident remains unclear, but no major injuries were reported.
