KING COUNTY, WA — Authorities are investigating a crash involving a semi-truck and a motorcycle early Sunday in northwest Puyallup that claimed at least one life, reports KOMO News.
The fatal collision occurred in the 900 block of Valley Avenue Northwest. Puyallup Police and Central Pierce Fire and Rescue crews were dispatched to the scene at about 3:00 a.m.
Details remain limited, but one or both involved vehicles caught fire as a result of the crash.
A stretch of Valley Avenue was closed at 7th Street Northwest and at Freeman Road during the emergency response and initial investigation.
Officials have not released any information regarding the cause and nature of the wreck. The exact number of those killed and injured has not confirmed.
