PIERCE COUNTY, WA — A two-vehicle wreck Sunday morning blocked two left lanes on Interstate 5 in Fife, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident impacted the southbound lanes of I-5 at Exit 157 to 54th Avenue East, near Emerald Queen Hotel & Casino. It was first reported by Trooper John Dattilo shortly after 6:30 a.m.
Officials have not released the sequence of events leading up to the crash, but no major injuries were reported.
Troopers and Tacoma Fire crews were dispatched to the scene where two left southbound lanes were closed.
A photo taken at the scene shows at least one fire engine responding.
