WEST SEATTLE, WA — A 22-year-old woman crashed her vehicle into a utility pole Monday night in West Seattle’s Delridge neighborhood, according to West Seattle Blog.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Delridge Way Southwest and Southwest Orchard Street, east of the Seattle Police Department’s Southwest Precinct. It was first reported by WSB at 10:40 p.m.
Details are limited, but Seattle Police said only the female driver was involved in the crash that impacted the pole, prompting a response from City Light crews.
The southbound bicycle lane and part of the southbound general-purpose lane was blocked in the immediate aftermath.
At 12:24 a.m., more than 1.5 hours after the initial report, tow crews were seen loading the damaged car onto a flatbed for removal.
The SPD said the involved driver was not seriously injured in the incident.
