SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Friday afternoon in north Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident occurred in the 9700 block of Greenwood Avenue North and was first reported at about 12:40 p.m. Officers with the department’s North Precinct responded to the scene shortly after.
Officials have not specified the circumstances, but police dispatchers listed the event as a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) involving a truck. At least one of the involved parties fled the scene before authorities arrived, qualifying the crash as a hit-and-run.
As of this writing, the SPD has not confirmed any major injuries or released any information about the hit-and-run suspect.
