SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported late Thursday morning on Virginia Street in downtown Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident occurred at the intersection with 2nd Avenue, near Moore Theater, in an area just north of Pike Place Market. Officers with the department’s West Precinct responded to the scene at around 11:49 a.m.
Very few details have been made available at this time, but dispatchers described the event as a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) involving a hit-and-run driver. No injuries were immediately reported.
As of this writing, officials have not released a description of the fleeing vehicle and/or driver.
