SEATTLE, WA — One person was injured late Tuesday afternoon due to a pedestrian crash on an Interstate 5 entrance ramp near downtown Seattle, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident occurred on the I-5 Express northbound onramp from Pike Street, in the city’s Pike/Pine neighborhood. It was first reported by Trooper Rick Johnson shortly after 4:00 p.m.
Very few details have been disclosed, but officials indicated that the victim was transported to an area hospital after sustaining injuries consistent with a pedestrian crash. No updates on the patient’s condition have been made available.
