KING COUNTY, WA — A collision early Friday morning closed a section of State Route 18 near southwest Snoqualmie, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident occurred on a span of SR-18 between Interstate 90 and Issaquah Hobart Road. It was first reported by WSDOT at around 4:45 a.m.
Few details have been confirmed at this time, but photos taken at the scene indicates that a towed boat had become detached from an involved vehicle. Loose tires can be seen along the right shoulder, and significant front-end damage can also be observed on a black passenger car.
Multiple agencies, including the Washington State Patrol, WSDOT’s Incident Response Team (IRT), and tow crews responded to the scene, where a section of SR-18 was blocked in both directions.
