KING COUNTY, WA — A man died Friday evening after a hit-and-run pedestrian crash involving involving two cars near Shoreline, reports KOMO News.
The fatal incident took place at the intersection of Linden Avenue North and North 145th Street, just north of Seattle. Seattle Police responded to the scene after receiving reports shortly before 11:00 p.m.
Preliminary details indicate the male pedestrian was struck by drivers in two separate sedans, both of whom fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
Authorities said officers arrived to find the male pedestrian unresponsive. Despite life-saving measures administered by Seattle Fire Department crew members, the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Officers conducted a search of the area but were not able to locate the involved vehicles.
An investigation by the Traffic Collisions detectives remains open and ongoing.
