KING COUNTY, WA — At least one vehicle caught fire due to a crash Wednesday morning on Interstate 5 in Federal Way, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The wreck occurred on the southbound lanes of I-5, just past South 320th Street. It was first reported by WSDOT at 10:00 a.m.
Officials have not specified the circumstances of the accident, but emergency crews were on the scene of the crash at the time of the initial report.

Only the far right lane was initially reported blocked, but by 10:12 a.m., the closure had upgraded to two right lanes.
Footage captured at the scene show at least two fire engines responding. Flames and dark smoke can be observed emitting from at least one involved vehicle.
By 10:48 a.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway, reopening all travel lanes to traffic.
Local agencies have not released any details concerning potential injuries.
