SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A 25-year-old man has been arrested for suspected DUI following a hit-and-run crash Friday night near Halford that left a pedestrian injured, according to FOX 13 Seattle.

The incident took place on a span of U.S. Highway 2 at milepost 39, northwest of the city. It was first reported at around 10:21 p.m.

A preliminary investigation by the Washington State Patrol indicates the suspect, Raphael Landry, was driving eastbound in the westbound lane of US-2 when his vehicle struck a 20-year-old man. Landry then continued driving eastbound away from the scene, without stopping to render aid.

First responders rushed the victim to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center. No information regarding the severity of his condition has been disclosed.

WSP troopers were later able to locate and apprehend Landry on eastbound SR-2 at milepost 55. He was arrested for “driving under the influence.”

No further details have been made available at this time, as an investigation remains in progress.
