SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle crash early Wednesday blocked part of an intersection near Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The wreck occurred at 2nd Avenue and Virginia Street, and was first reported by SDOT at 3:20 a.m.
Authorities did not immediately share the circumstances of the accident, but the southbound and eastbound lanes of the intersection were blocked as a result.

At 4:28 a.m., more than an hour later, the accident had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to the public.
