SEATTLE, WA — Crews were dispatched to a collision late Wednesday on the Ballard Bridge in northwest Seattle, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The collision took place on the southbound side of the bridge and was first reported by SDOT at 10:25 p.m.
Little information has been made available, but the right southbound lane of the bridge remained closed for about 80 minutes following the initial report.
A photo captured by a traffic camera at the intersection of 15th Avenue West and West Emerson Street, on the southern end of the bridge, showed multiple vehicles stopped along the shoulder and right lane.

By 11:45 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway, restoring all lanes to traffic.
