SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle accident late Thursday morning blocked a right lane on Interstate 5 near Seattle’s Industrial District, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The wreck occurred on the southbound lanes of I-5, just north of Exit 162 to South Michigan Street. It was first reported by the Washington State Department of Transportation at 12:45 p.m.
Officials have not provided any details indicating a cause of the crash, but the scene was cleared to the right shoulder shortly after the initial report.

Traffic footage captured at the scene shows suggests multiple vehicles, including a semi-truck, were involved.
