KING COUNTY, WA — One person was hospitalized with critical injuries Sunday morning after a collision off South 188th Street in SeaTac, according to KOMO News.
The accident occurred at the intersection with 16th Avenue South, just south of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. It was first reported by Puget Sound Fire at 10:12 a.m., when crews had already responded to the scene.
While authorities have not specified the events leading up to the crash, photos taken at the scene show a passenger vehicle flipped onto its roof, in what appears to be a private lot well off the roadway.
At the time of the initial report, paramedics with Medic One were transporting one victim to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A section of South 188th Street was expected to remain shut down as officials conducted an investigation. Motorists were warned of delays impacting the area.
