SEATTLE, WA — A 19-year-old woman was sent to a hospital following a rollover crash later Thursday on the West Seattle Bridge, according to West Seattle Blog.
Seattle Police responded to the scene on the westbound side of the bridge, near the onramp from 1st Avenue South, shortly before 11:54 p.m.
Officials did not say what caused the vehicle to roll onto its side, but the young woman, who was initially trapped aft, was helped out of the wreckage by other motorists.
Seattle Fire Department crews confirmed the victim was transported to a local hospital where she was listed in stable condition. No other injuries were reported.
The westbound bridge was shut down for about 40 minutes before reopening at around 12:40 a.m. the next morning.
