SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A 16-year-old was killed in a rollover crash early Tuesday in Marysville that injured three other teenagers, according to FOX 13 Seattle.

The single-vehicle accident occurred on the eastbound side of 136th Street Northeast, shortly after 12:00 a.m.

Marysville Police Department officials said the vehicle was heading eastbound on the road at an apparently high rate of speed when it crossed over railroad tracks. Moments later, its driver lost control, causing the car to overturn, ejecting three of the four teenage occupants, all ages 15 or 16.

One of the ejected victims succumbed to injuries, confirmed officials. The other two ejected teens, one of whom suffered serious injuries, were rushed to local hospitals.

Authorities said the fourth teenager, who was able to self-extricate, was found walking nearly half a mile from the scene, near his residence. The severity of his condition was not immediately disclosed.

An investigation into the wreck remains ongoing. No charges have been reported as of this writing.
