THURSTON COUNTY, WA — One person was seriously injured Friday afternoon due to a motorcycle crash involving another vehicle on State Route 510 near Olympia, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident occurred on the eastbound lanes of SR-510 at Old Pacific Highway (milepost 6) on July 14. It was first reported by the Washington State Department of Transportation – Tacoma at 1:44 p.m.
While the circumstances of the wreck were not immediately clear, the WSP said the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries.
Motorists were warned to avoid the scene, as all lanes of SR-510 were blocked in the immediate aftermath.

WSDOT – Tacoma crews had responded to assist with area traffic control, and by 3:36 p.m., a single-lane alternating traffic system was put into effect.
Shortly after 4:00 p.m., more than three hours later, the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all travel lanes were reopened.
