THURSTON COUNTY, WA — At least one person was injured early Thursday afternoon after a multi-vehicle wreck in south Olympia, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident took place on the northbound side of Interstate 5 at milepost 104.77, underneath the Capitol Boulevard Southeast overpass. It was first reported by the Washington State Department of Transportation – Tacoma at 12:27 p.m.
While authorities have not disclosed the circumstances of the crash, but three passenger cars were involved, and one of the drivers was transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
WSP troopers and Olympia Fire Department crews responded to the scene where two right lanes were blocked.
