KING COUNTY, WA — A man was hospitalized last Friday afternoon, July 21, after a single-vehicle accident in northwest Redmond, according to the Redmond Police Department.
The collision occurred in the 11800 block of Willows Road Northeast, in the Sammamish Valley area. It was first reported by the RPD shortly before 2:28 p.m.
Authorities did not say what caused the wreck, but preliminary details indicate the victim was driving northbound when his vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a tree.
First responders administered life-saving measures to the male driver at the scene before he was rushed to an area hospital. No other information on the patient’s condition has been shared, and no other injuries have been reported.
Motorists were warned of slight delays impacting the area, as traffic was forced to re-route at Northeast 116th Street.
