KING COUNTY, WA — Emergency crews were dispatched to a crash late Thursday morning on an Interstate 5 connector ramp in Tukwila, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident impacted the Exit 154A ramp from I-5 southbound to I-405 northbound, near the city’s Wesfield Southcenter shopping mall. It was first reported by WSDOT at 10:50 a.m.
While it is unclear how many vehicles were involved and what caused the crash, by 11:00 a.m., both the ramp and the HOV lane were closed as a result.

At 11:50 a.m., an hour after the initial report, the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were restored to normal traffic.

Authorities have not confirmed any major injuries following the event.
