SEATTLE, WA — A collision Tuesday night closed two lanes on Martin Luther King Jr Way South in south Seattle, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The accident impacted the northbound lanes of the road at South Henderson Street, in the city’s Dunlap neighborhood. It was first reported by SDOT at 9:07 p.m., when first responders had already arrived at the scene.
Officials have not said what led up to the wreck, but a photo captured at the scene shows multiple police cruisers and at least one fire engine responding.

The two northbound lanes remained blocked for over 1.5 hours. By 10:50 p.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway.
