KING COUNTY, WA — Emergency crews responded to a crash late Tuesday morning that blocked part of a State Route 520 exit ramp in southeast Redmond, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision took place on the SR-520 eastbound offramp to SR-202 and was first reported by WSDOT at 11:20 a.m.
Few details have ben disclosed at this time, but the ramp’s two left lanes were closed in the immediate aftermath.
By 11:30 a.m., first responders had arrived at the scene, and a traffic backup had already begun forming in the area.

It was not immediately clear what caused the wreck, how many vehicles were impacted, or whether anyone was seriously hurt.
By 11:44 a.m., more than 20 minutes after WSDOT’s initial report, crews had already cleared the scene from the roadway.
