KING COUNTY, WA — Authorities were called to a collision Wednesday morning that caused lengthy delays on State Route 167 near Auburn, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The wreck took place on the northbound highway, just south of Ellingson Road, in an area just northwest of Pacific. It was first reported by WSDOT at 8:15 a.m.
While the circumstances of the accident remain unclear, the right northbound lane was blocked for over 80 minutes.
Footage taken at the scene shows at least one fire engine responding to what appears to be a multi-vehicle wreck.

Motorists were advised to find alternate routes around the area, as a five-mile traffic backup had formed as of 8:50 a.m.
By 9:40 a.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were restored to normal traffic.
