SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — Authorities have identified and seized three vehicles linked to a hit-and-run pedestrian crash early last Wednesday in Everett that claimed that life of a woman, reports KOMO News.
Everett Police said the fatal incident occurred in the 10100 block of Evergreen Way at around 4:37 a.m., and included up to seven vehicles whose drivers all fled the scene.
The victim, 41-year-old Rachell Everitt, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
In the following days, investigators were able to obtain tips and a witness video of the event that led to the seizure of three vehicles, including the first vehicle that hit the woman.
All three vehicles were taken into custody after being towed from residences and other locations. All of the owners of the vehicles have also been notified of the action.
The vehicles are set to be processed and searched pending warrants, and an investigation remains open and ongoing.
