KING COUNTY, WA — Multiple crews responded to a collision Friday morning that blocked up to two right lanes on Interstate 405 in southwest Renton, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The wreck occurred on the northbound lanes at State Route 167 and was first recorded by WSDOT at 8:50 a.m.
It was unclear what events led up to the crash, but by 9:10 a.m., two right lanes were closed as first responders, the Washington State Patrol, and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team (IRT) responded to the scene.
Motorists were instructed to reduce speed and clear the way for emergency vehicles and personnel.

By 9:54 a.m., over an hour later, crews had cleared out of the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
Local agencies have not confirmed any injuries in the incident.
