KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle wreck Tuesday evening blocked up to two right lanes on Interstate 405 in northeast Kirkland, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident took place on the northbound lanes just north of Northeast 124th Street, in the Totem Lake area. It was first recorded by WSDOT at 5:55 p.m.
While officials have not disclosed the cause of the collision, local firefighters, Washington State Patrol troopers, and WSDOT’S Incident Response Team (IRT) all responded to the scene.
Video captured in the area shows at least two fire engines and two other emergency vehicles responding. Traffic can be seen slowly passing through the central and left lanes.

By 6:04 p.m., the scene had been cleared from the travel lanes, but motorists were warned of lingering delays.
