SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A vehicle accident Thursday afternoon blocked a right lane on Interstate 5 in south Lynnwood, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision was reported on the southbound lanes just north of Exit 179 to 220th Street Southwest, in the Seattle Heights area. Washington State Patrol troopers and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team (IRT) responded to the scene shortly before 1:39 p.m.
Authorities have not provided details regarding the cause of the wreck or the vehicles involved, but motorists were warned of delays impacting the area.

By 1:48 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were restored to traffic.
