SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — At least one person was injured early Saturday evening due to a multi-vehicle crash on State Route 203 in south Monroe, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision took place on the northbound lanes of SR-203 at Ben Howard Road. It was first reported by WSDOT at 5:15 p.m.
Authorities have not provided details on the events leading up to the crash, but up to three vehicles were involved, and injuries were reported.
Only the left northbound lane was initially blocked, but by 5:40 p.m., a section of the highway was completely closed, with no detours in place. Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes around the scene, as the closure was expected to remain in place for an extended time.

At 6:07 p.m., nearly an hour after the initial report, the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to the public.
