KING COUNTY, WA — Injuries were reported Tuesday morning after a multi-vehicle accident on Renton-Maple Valley Road in southeast Renton, according to the Renton Police Department.
The crash happened at the intersection with 140th Way Southeast, near Maplewood Golf Course. It was first tweeted by the department shortly after 8:00 a.m.
Though the circumstances of the wreck remain undisclosed, three vehicles were involved, resulting in injuries to at least one person.
All traffic heading southbound on 140th Way Southeast was blocked as first responders tended to the scene. Tow crews were also en route at the time of the initial report.

By 8:51 a.m., nearly 50 minutes later, the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were restored to normal traffic.
