SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — Emergency crews were called to a vehicle crash Thursday morning on U.S. Highway 2 in east Everett, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision occurred on the westbound highway just west of Home Acres Road, or 51st Avenue Southeast. It was first recorded by WSDOT at 8:30 a.m.
No information on the cause of the accident has been shared, but all westbound lanes were blocked in the area, and significant delays were expected.

By 8:56 a.m., a four-mile backup had formed behind the scene, but all lanes were reported reopened.

Authorities have not confirmed any serious injuries in the event.
