KING COUNTY, WA — One person was airlifted to a hospital Saturday afternoon following a multi-vehicle crash near southeast Lacey that left two other people injured, reports KOMO News.
First responders arrived on the scene in the 8600 block of Waldon Drive Southeast after receiving a call at around 12:00 p.m.
While the circumstances of the accident remain unknown, authorities said three vehicles, including a bus, were involved, causing a passenger car to overturn.
The bus driver and one passenger aboard the bus suffered minor injuries, while an occupant in the rolled car sustained serious injuries and had to be flown to an area hospital.
Part of Yelm Highway was closed off during the response and initial investigation.
At this time, no pending charges have been reported.
