KING COUNTY, WA — Multiple agencies were called to a crash Wednesday afternoon on State Route 161 near northeast Milton, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident happened on the southbound lanes of SR-161, just north of Military Road South. It was first reported by WSDOT at 1:25 p.m.
Authorities have not released information regarding the circumstances of the wreck, but local firefighters, medics, and police responded to the scene, suggesting possible injuries.
The right southbound lane and part of the left southbound lane were blocked during the emergency response.

By 2:14 p.m., nearly 50 minutes later, crews had cleared the accident from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to the public.
