SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle wreck late Monday morning closed three right lanes on Interstate 3 in south Seattle, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident took place on the northbound lanes just past South Michigan Street, north of King County International Airport. It was first recorded by WSDOT at 11:15 a.m.
Few details have been provided, but the three-lane closure created a traffic backup about three miles long. Motorists were urged to find alternate routes around the scene as emergency crews responded to the scene.
