News: 4 injured as car collides with school bus in Whatcom County

WHATCOM COUNTY, WA — Four people, including two students, were hurt Tuesday morning in a school bus collision near southwest Lynden, reports FOX 13 Seattle.

The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened on a span of West Pole Road between Old Guide Road and Aldrich Road.

Officials have not released specific details regarding the cause of the crash, but two juveniles and the driver aboard the school bus sustained minor injuries.

The driver of the car was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

A section of West Pole Road was blocked off for hours as the WCSO conducted an investigation.

No charges have been reported as of this writing.
