TACOMA, WA — Two people were hurt, one critically, late Tuesday afternoon due to a rollover collision in Tacoma’s Eastside neighborhood, according to the Tacoma Police Department.
The accident happened on the northbound side of Portland Avenue, between East 48th Street and East 51st Street. It was first reported by the TPD shortly before 5:00 p.m.
Officials have not disclosed the circumstances of the crash, but two occupants were ejected as the car overturned. One person suffered minor injuries, and the other was listed in stable but critical condition.

All northbound lanes of Portland Avenue were closed in the immediate aftermath but were reopened by 7:11 p.m., more than two hours later.
The Tacoma Police Department’s Collision Investigation Team was called to the scene to handle the case.
At this time, no other details have been released, and no charges have been reported.
