WEST SEATTLE, WA — One person was hospitalized early Monday after a single-vehicle accident on West Marginal Way Southwest in West Seattle, according to West Seattle Blog.
The collision occurred on the outside southbound lane just before Highland Park Way Southwest, in the Riverview neighborhood. It was first reported by WSB at 1:52 a.m.
Little information has been disclosed, but a vehicle appears to have struck and downed a tree in the area.
Video footage captured by a Seattle Department of Transportation camera indicates first responders were preparing to transport the driver by AMR ambulance to a nearby hospital. No information on the severity of the victim’s condition has been shared.
SDOT crews were called to the scene to clear the fallen tree, which blocked the right turn lane of West Marginal Way.
By 2:22 a.m., tow crews had arrived on the scene to remove the vehicle.
