SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported late Tuesday afternoon in downtown Seattle’s Belltown area, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident was reported in the 1500 block of Olive Way, about one block from the Washington State Convention Center. Officers with the department’s East Precinct were dispatched to the scene at about 3:56 p.m.
Little information has been disclosed, but dispatchers listed the event as a motor vehicle collision involving a truck. At least one of the involved parties fled the scene before authorities arrived.
At this time, authorities have not released a description of the fleeing suspect and/or vehicle.
It was not immediately clear whether anyone was seriously injured.
